#6 English Challenges
I have always liked English and I want to keep learning more and more. So having this subject at the University was very useful for me to reinforce my learning and I think it will also be part of the world of work at some point when I graduate, so for me it is very necessary. I mean, it's a universal language.
On the other hand, blogging is something I hadn't experienced if not until last year in English III and it's a lot of fun: telling experiences and sharing tastes with others is very interesting since we are all different. It is the typical thing that you see in movies or series for adolescents and you wonder what it would be like if you had your own blog, and this has given me the pleasant experience.
To be honest, I think I still have to practice my ear a lot to understand spoken English, I find it difficult to understand when they speak very fast, although I usually understand the general sentence. I have American friends who have told me that I have a very good pronunciation so I try to keep it that way, if I don't know the pronunciation of a word, I google it or ask those who do. I read a lot in English because it helps me a lot in that area, but there are still words that I don't know.
English is everywhere (in my life at least), from the books or texts that I read, to the movies, series or youtubers that I watch. But like I said, I also have American friends that I listen to and they make me talk sometimes.
This was a nice experience that has helped me to improve ... every day you learn something new, right?
Thank you for this experience!
See you, guys! Maybe we'll meet sometime again!
like all languages, when a native speaks very fast, we will never understand well if we do not practice
ReplyDelete:(...
it's like when a "gringo" comes along and doesn't understand "the chilean"
I find it difficult to understand when they speak very fast, just like you, but i find it more difficult to respond or even take the initiative to speak in English, it makes me very nervous
